IBRS 1.2 eLoriCorps
IBRS 1.2 eLoriCorps is a virtual reality system designed by the Loricorps research group to better understand how people perceive their own bodies. It features an Immersive Body Rating Scale that allows participants to evaluate themselves from two perspectives: an external view of their body, as if they were looking at it from the outside (allocentric), and an internal view, as if they were inside their own skin (egocentric). Thanks to the immersive environment, participants are more engaged and can explore their body image in a richer and more nuanced way. The tool opens up new avenues for understanding body image disorders and improving their treatment.

The virtual world of Loricorps
Loricorps was pleased to be invited to the first Annual Digital Mental Health Day in Quebec and to share its expertise on the use of virtual reality. This event, organized by the Centre of Expertise in Information Technology for Mental Health, Addiction, and Homelessness (CETI-SMDI) in partnership with the MSSS, was a unique opportunity to engage in enriching discussions about the innovations shaping the future of digital support. Guests, including Minister Lionel Carmant (pictured), were also able to experience the virtual world of Loricorps.
