Meet EmoScienS: When Emotional AI Works for People

Share

On February 22, the AXEL Center was pleased to welcome the EmoScienS team, an initiative stemming from university research and co-founded by Pierrich Plusquellec, who is also a member of the AXEL Center’s Constellation Table.

On this occasion, Pierrich Plusquellec presented the vision and work of EmoScienS, which aims to make emotional artificial intelligence accessible, ethical, and deeply human, from a scientific entrepreneurship perspective.

By combining the science of emotions with artificial intelligence, EmoScienS develops non-intrusive digital tools that help us better understand emotional dynamics, promoting psychological well-being in both personal and professional contexts. These tools include EmoConnect and EmoData, designed with respect for individuals’ privacy and autonomy.

Driven by a design-for-responsibility approach, the project acts as a bridge between science and society, putting decades of research to work in the service of concrete, useful, and socially responsible solutions.

👏 Congratulations to Pierrich Plusquellec and the entire EmoScienS team for this inspiring initiative, which fully exemplifies the type of innovations that the AXEL Center aims to support and promote within its ecosystem.
