Johana Monthuy-Blanc, Ph.D., at the Conference of Francophone Physicians of Canada
The annual conference of the French-Speaking Physicians of Canada was a resounding success, bringing together nearly 400 in-person attendees, as well as an equal number of remote participants, to discuss key topics related to health and well-being.
On this occasion, Johana Monthuy-Blanc, Ph.D., professor, researcher, and director of the AXEL Centre, presented a lecture titled:
“Body Image and Self-Esteem: Mirror, Mirror… ”
Her presentation sparked keen interest by exploring the links between body image, self-esteem, and mental health, while opening a discussion on the importance of integrated approaches—including digital tools—to support people in their relationship with their bodies and themselves.
Congratulations to Johana Monthuy-Blanc for this inspiring contribution, as well as to the entire conference organizing team for the quality of the event and the richness of the discussions.
