Lunchtime Lecture by Alexandre Lemyre

Low-code/no-code platforms for developing mobile and web applications in mental health

Share

This presentation explores low-code/no-code (LC/NC) platforms as powerful tools for rapidly developing web or mobile applications in the field of mental health, without requiring advanced programming expertise. Alexandre Lemyre highlights their value for researchers and students, particularly for prototyping solutions quickly and at low cost.

He will explain how to choose the right LC/NC platform based on technical requirements, customization needs, budget, intellectual property considerations, and community support. The FlutterFlow platform will be highlighted as a concrete example, thanks to its flexibility, intuitive design, compatibility with Firebase, and potential for collaborative or commercial projects. Lemyre will also highlight limitations to watch out for: code quality, data access, and platform dependency. He encourages evaluating each tool based on specific criteria.
