Mental Health and Digital Innovation: A Strategy to Accelerate Progress in Quebec
At a conference held in Morocco, Johana Monthuy-Blanc, Ph.D., director of the AXEL Centre, spoke about a key issue facing contemporary societies: the impact of screen use on mental health, as well as the digital innovation initiatives developed and promoted by Quebec.
On this occasion, she presented the work of the AXEL Centre, as well as that of the Centre of Expertise in Information Technology for Mental Health, Addiction, and Homelessness—two leading organizations that actively contribute to shaping and accelerating digital innovation in mental health in Quebec.
This insightful presentation highlighted the importance of rethinking our relationship with digital technologies to better support the mental well-being of young people and families, while promoting responsible, integrated approaches adapted to current realities.
The AXEL Centre extends its warmest thanks to the Zakoura Education Foundation and the Association Prise en charge précoce Famille et Enfants for organizing this international initiative and for the quality of the discussions it facilitated.
