In practical terms, Aller mieux… à ma façon (Getting Better My Way) is a web-based tool that helps people create a self-management plan for coping with anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder. Once logged in to the website, users are guided to select strategies for getting better from a database of ideas derived from a study conducted with 50 people recovering from anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder. Once this step is completed, a self-management plan is generated. This plan is dynamic and can be updated by the user over time.
Aller mieux… à ma façon (Getting Better My Way) is now an informational resource of the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS). It is managed and operated by the Centre of Expertise in Information Technology – Mental Health, Addiction, and Homelessness (CETI-SMDI).
